The Best for Last
Here's a few panoramic photos I attempted to take. Panoramic is 3 photos brought together for one long panoramic view. One of Bar Harbor is on this blog header. Above is from the top of Gorham Mountain, Friday, July 9th.
The next two are from the top of Cadillac Mountain, Tuesday, July 6th.

North East Harbor & Somes Sound
We drove to North East Harbor and along Somes Sound. Very nice area with large expansive estates. Ironically among these million dollar estates we found the lobster for sale sign above -- which is common everywhere in Bar Harbor .. but interesting in NE Harbor.
More pics of NE Harbor and Somes Sound at slide show below:
Lunch Break back in Bar Harbor
We enjoyed a nice lunch at Portside. Jeff had Halibut sandwiche and I had clam chowder and lobster roll. Afterwards we went to the dock where Jeff has found the best price on coffee and blueberry pie. I took pics of a group heading out on kayaks. It was supposed to rain today .. but as you can tell the weather was beautiful again.
Last Day @ Bar Harbor, Maine
On our last day we started off with 2 hikes in Acadia Park with trail recommendations from our friendly Park Ranger. He kept us away from the trails that have ladders that you climb up the mountain .. although Jeff insisted he wanted to do those trails. Enjoy pics of our last 2 hikes in Acadia National Park. Compared to the others -- these were an easy 3 miles. Interesting plank walk over a swamp area -- I was definitely on snake alert.

Friday night in Bar Harbor
Well it's Friday night in Bar Harbor, our vacation is coming to a close and we are exhausted. We had an excellent (perhaps the best yet) dinner at Poor Boys Gourmet Restaurant.. and Jeff had blueberry pie ... it was excellent. It had a cookie crust and walnut crumb topping. While we were waiting for our table the owner told us that Susan Sarandon and Martha Stewart have vacation homes at Bay Harbor. Jeff had stuffed lobster and I had sauteed lobster (or also known as lazy mans lobster). As always I can't pass up taking pics of flowers above are a few from the flower garden our table overlooked.
